Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data the soloresidences.com website receives, why it is needed, how long we keep it and how you can exercise control over it.
1. Who processes the data
The controller of the soloresidences.com website and of your personal data is Solo Residence LLC, identification code 445647417, address: 26 Ksenia Bakhtadze Street, Batumi, Georgia (“we”).
For any questions about personal data, write to info@soloresidences.com or call +995 557 52 01 01.
2. What data we receive
When you submit the “Get information on WhatsApp” form, we store a Lead with the following data:
- the name you entered;
- your phone number in international format;
- the country selected for the dialling code;
- the source, i.e. which button on the website brought you to the form;
- the website language;
- the date and time of submission;
- information about your browser and device (the User-Agent string).
3. Technical data
With every request, your browser sends the server its IP address and technical details of the request. We do not store the IP address in the Lead. To protect the form from spam, we limit the number of Leads from a single IP address (no more than five per hour): for this, the server keeps an anonymised key derived from the IP address for no longer than one hour.
Cookies, analytics and the map are described in detail in the Cookie Policy.
4. Why we process the data
We need the Lead data to respond to your enquiry: to send you prices, Layouts and purchase terms, to contact you and to prepare the transaction if you decide to buy an Apartment or a Villa. The source of the Lead helps us understand what you are interested in. Browser information helps us find technical faults and tell Leads submitted by people from automated ones.
The legal basis is your request, that is, steps taken at your initiative before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and protecting the website from abuse. We enable analytics and the interactive map only with your consent.
Providing your name and phone number is voluntary, but without them we cannot respond to a Lead submitted through the form. You can always call or message us directly.
5. WhatsApp
After you submit the form, the website opens a WhatsApp chat with our sales team containing a pre-filled message that includes your name. The message is sent only if you tap “Send” yourself.
Your WhatsApp conversation is processed by WhatsApp (a Meta group company) under its own rules: the WhatsApp Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We have no control over how WhatsApp processes data.
6. Who we share data with
Leads are stored only on the website server at our hosting provider. At present we do not forward them by email or pass them to a CRM or any other service. If this changes, we will update this policy in advance.
We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising. The data that Google and Meta (analytics) and the OpenStreetMap Foundation (map) receive once you consent is described in the Cookie Policy. These companies may process data outside Georgia, including in the United States and the United Kingdom.
7. How long we keep data
Leads are kept in a log on the website server for 90 days and are then deleted automatically.
We keep correspondence via WhatsApp, phone and email for as long as it is needed to communicate with you and for a possible transaction, and thereafter for the periods required by Georgian law.
8. Your rights
Under the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection, you have the right to:
- find out whether we process your data, and receive information about the processing and a copy of the data;
- request that the data be corrected, updated or completed;
- request that processing be stopped and the data be erased or destroyed;
- request that the data be blocked;
- receive the data in a format suitable for transfer;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the processing carried out before the withdrawal;
- lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia (personaldata.ge).
9. Visitors from the European Union
If you are in the EU, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) also applies to the processing of your data. The legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract), 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest) and 6(1)(a) (consent, for analytics and the map).
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format, object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw your consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your country.
10. How to contact us
To exercise your rights or ask a question, write to info@soloresidences.com. We will respond without undue delay and within the time limits set by law. We may ask you to confirm that the request comes from you.
11. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the way the website works or the law changes. The current version is always published on this page, with its date shown at the bottom.
The processing of personal data is governed by the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection of 14 June 2023 and, for visitors from the EU, also by the GDPR.
